COVID-19 Notice
In this time of uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our student veterans have reached out with concerns or questions about whether and to what degree their benefits will continue while classes are limited to online modalities. Please be assured that courses duly registered * (Read the asterisk below – It is critically important information) by student veterans will be certified by the College and honored by the Veterans’ Administration, including the award of regular MHA (BAH) on the same terms as normal brick-and-mortar attendances through 21 DEC 2021 or until campus operations resume as normal.
Please see theVA’s COVID-19 FAQs webpage for more details.
*The vast majority of summer and fall courses at Cascadia will be offered online in practice. However, there remains a distinction between course sections that would have been offered online regardless (OL and IOL section codes) and courses that have been moved online due to COVID-19 (most all other section codes). In order for your MHA to work out the way you want, it is imperative that you register for at least one course of the latter type. If you need clarification on this point, please email veterans@cascadia.edu.
