graduation 2020 goes online!

The graduation link above will be live on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 4:00 pm. The video will be available to watch at any time after it has been published. Enjoy, and congratulations Kodiaks!

The graduation ceremony will be virtual this year. Enjoy speeches from special guests and slides recognizing each graduate, including a formal reading of their name—just like being in person!  Students will also be invited to participate in the 2021 in-person ceremony.

Follow us on Twitter @CascadiaCollege now and during the live post, and interact in real-time. Make sure to follow and share celebratory moments at #cascadiagrad2020.

To receive your degree or certificate, you are required to satisfy all specific program requirements as stated in the catalog of the academic year that you began your degree program.

Graduation applicants must:

  1. Achieve a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) for courses taken at Cascadia. The 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for transfer courses used to satisfy degree requirements. Transfer courses are not averaged with Cascadia's GPA. At least 25 credits must be taken at Cascadia that apply to the degree or certificate.
  2. Earn at least 60 degree credits with decimal grades.
  3. Fulfill all financial obligations to the college.
  4. Meet with an Academic Advisor during drop-in hours to complete the Graduation Application and ensure all requirements will have been met after the applicant's final quarter.

In order to help ensure you are ready to graduate on time, we ask that you meet with an Academic Advisor during drop-in hours to review and complete your Graduation Application the quarter before you plan to graduate.

There is no guarantee you will receive it in time for the photo submission deadline, but you should have it in time for graduation day.  Follow the prompts to get to Cascadia College.

Bothell High School students: The cap and gown colors for the associate degrees and certificates are the same as Bothell High School (blue).  If you already have one, no need to purchase another.  If you are receiving a bachelor degree, the cap and gown are black.

All students: on the Jostens website the associate robe photo is black, but a blue one will be sent.
